Basic Operations

Step one, get in the hot tub. Step two, relax. Seems simple, right? There’s a bit more to it (of course), but it’s nothing we can’t teach you quickly, especially with a “hands-on” session in your backyard. You’ll learn all about the basic operation of your home spa, how to control all the jets, features, and programming.  We will show you where the equipment access panel is, and help you better understand the operation of your new toy.

“Hands-On” Spa Maintenance

If you want to get the most enjoyment possible out of your hot tub, it starts with maintaining a thorough and regular cleaning regimen. We’ll teach you the importance of every component of your spa, and how & when to clean them, from the cover and pillows to the filter cartridges. We’ll also explain how to winterize your hot tub and keep it in good condition when it won’t be used for a while.

Water Treatment

In order to keep your spa water safe, hygienic and free from problems like algae slime, mould, and bacteria, you can’t skimp on diligent maintenance. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about getting your water chemistry in order, including how to balance the water for the right levels of alkalinity, calcium, pH, etcetera. We’ll show you how to sanitize the water to keep bacteria from forming, and how to “shock” the water to keep it looking fresh and clear.  We will emphasize a safe approach that uses the least possible amount of chemical to ensure a safe and convenient hot tub experience every time.

If the spa teach session is over and your eyes still glaze over at terms like “alkalinity” and “spa shock,” don’t worry.
